BATES: Frederick Reed, Born Duluth Minnesota, USA in 1925, Died suddenly at home in Fishbourne on 20 December 2016, Aged 91 years Son of Gilbert Marcus Bates and Ethel Louise McGrew, Brother to Richard McGrew Bates and Marcus William Bates, Widower of Colette Jaqueline (née Newman) and Loving father to Richard and Muffie. Fred was a gentle man and a gentleman. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral Service to take place at St Peter and St Mary Church, Fishbourne on Monday 23 January 2017 at 12.15pm. Family flowers only.
